Handlaunching
Handlaunching is a method of starting an aircraft, typically a glider or sailplane, by using human power to propel it into the air. This is usually done by two or more individuals holding the wings or fuselage and running forward, creating enough speed for the aircraft to gain lift and become airborne. The launch crew releases the aircraft once it has achieved sufficient airspeed and altitude.
Handlaunching is most commonly associated with model aircraft, where it is a standard procedure for many types
