Halfspirit is a term used in certain fantasy and role-playing game settings, most notably in the *Warhammer Fantasy* universe created by Games Workshop. It refers to a rare and often feared entity that exists as a hybrid between a human spirit and a supernatural being, typically a demon or spirit of darkness. These beings are said to arise when a human soul becomes irrevocably corrupted or bound to an otherworldly force, resulting in a creature that retains elements of both its original form and its new, malevolent nature.
