Haarauslogiikka, also known as *hair logic* or *hair removal logic*, is a humorous and informal concept that humorously describes the seemingly illogical or paradoxical nature of certain decisions or behaviors related to hair removal, particularly among men. The term originated from internet memes and online discussions, where it was used to critique the inconsistent or contradictory reasoning behind popular hair removal trends, such as shaving, waxing, or laser hair removal.

The core idea behind hairauslogiikka revolves around the observation that many men who shave or remove body hair often do so for aesthetic or social reasons, yet may still retain facial hair (such as beards or mustaches) that they might otherwise consider unsightly. For example, a man might shave his legs and arms for a clean appearance but grow a beard to appear more masculine or stylish. This inconsistency is often framed as a form of "logic" that doesn’t follow traditional rational patterns, hence the term *hairauslogiikka*, which translates roughly to "hair logic" in Finnish.
