Gézkötéseket

Gézkötéseket are gauze dressings used in wound care. They are typically made from cotton or a cotton blend and are woven in a way that allows for absorbency and breathability. Their primary function is to cover and protect wounds, absorb exudate (wound fluid), and provide a sterile barrier against infection.

Gauze dressings come in various forms, including sterile pads, rolls, and pre-cut squares. Sterile versions are essential for direct application to open wounds to prevent contamination. Non-sterile gauze is often used for general cleaning or to apply pressure to a wound.
