Gurneys

A gurney is a wheeled stretcher used to transport patients within hospitals, clinics, and emergency medical services. It typically features a rigid frame with a flat or slightly contoured platform, a height-adjustable section for the head and torso, and locking wheels. Many models include retractable side rails, safety straps, and an IV pole attachment; some have oxygen cylinder holders and rails that fold away for easier access. Materials are usually stainless steel or aluminum with vinyl upholstery for cleaning and infection control.
