Guaicurú
Guaicurú is a historical indigenous group who inhabited the Gran Chaco region of South America. Their traditional territory spanned parts of present-day Paraguay, Bolivia, and Argentina. The Guaicurú were known for their nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyle, adapting to the diverse environments of the Chaco, which includes arid scrublands, forests, and wetlands.

The Guaicurú encountered Spanish explorers and missionaries from the 16th century onwards, leading to a complex
