Grammatikkailta

Grammatikkailta is a Finnish term meaning "Grammar Evening" used for a series of community events focused on grammar, language use, and related topics. The events are organized by language clubs, universities, libraries, or cultural centers and are open to the public. They bring together linguists, teachers, writers, students, and lay language enthusiasts.

Each session typically includes one or more short presentations on a grammar-related topic, followed by discussions, Q&A, and practical exercises. Topics range from Finnish case system and word formation to punctuation, style guidelines, and common usage pitfalls. In some editions, interactive workshops and writing drills are included.
