Goonies
The Goonies is a 1985 American adventure comedy film directed by Richard Donner. A production of Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, it was written by Chris Columbus from a story by Spielberg and Columbus. The film follows a group of young friends from the Goon Docks neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon, who discover a map to One-Eyed Willy’s pirate treasure and set out on a quest to find it before the treasure falls into the hands of the villainous Fratelli family. The adventure features booby-trapped tunnels, caves, and a run-in with the Fratellis and the deformed Sloth, culminating in the treasure’s discovery and a plan to save the kids' homes.
