Godulfus
Godulfus, also known as Godulf of Rochester, was a 7th-century Anglo-Saxon bishop and saint. He is primarily remembered for his role in the Christianization of Kent and his association with the early monastic communities in England. Born in the late 7th century, Godulfus was the son of Bishop Wulfhere of Rochester, who was himself a prominent figure in the Church of Kent.
Godulfus succeeded his father as Bishop of Rochester around 690, a position he held until his death.
