Genreanalyse

Genreanalyse is a method within literary and media studies that examines genres as dynamic, historically situated systems of conventions, expectations, and social functions. It investigates how genres organize content, form, reception, and production, and how they influence both creators and audiences over time.

The approach emphasizes that genres are not fixed templates but evolving categories shaped by cultural, industrial, and technological change.
