GPStagging refers to the process of embedding geographical location data, typically obtained from a GPS device or service, into digital files. This location information, often in the form of latitude and longitude coordinates, can be stored as metadata within the file itself. For image files, this is commonly known as geotagging and allows users to see where a photo was taken on a map. Similarly, video files, audio recordings, and even documents can be GPStagged.
