GPSstandarder refers to the established protocols and formats used for transmitting and receiving data from the Global Positioning System. These standards ensure interoperability between different GPS receivers, software applications, and various positioning technologies. Key among these is the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) Standard 104, often referred to as RTCM (Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services) standards.
