Funkbetreibung

Funkbetreibung is a term that appears in some German-language discussions to describe a form of debt enforcement that allegedly relies on wireless or radio-based communication to notify, coordinate, or execute steps in the collection process. It is not, however, a formally recognized procedure in Swiss or German civil procedure. In practice, debt collection is conducted under established legal frameworks rather than a separate method called Funkbetreibung.

In Switzerland, for example, debt enforcement and bankruptcy are governed by the Federal Act on Debt Enforcement

The term is more likely to be encountered in historical writings, regional slang, or as a misnomer
