Frostating
Frostating was one of medieval Norway’s principal regional assemblies, serving as both a legislative forum and a court. Named after the meeting site at Frosta in the central part of the country, it functioned as a key venue for making laws, resolving disputes, and enforcing normative rulings for its jurisdiction in central and northern Norway.
