Common metrics include adoption rate, version distribution, maintenance burden, churn, co-occurrence with other frameworks, security and licensing compliance, and cost implications for licenses or hosting. The resulting insights support governance, standardization, risk assessment, and budgeting by helping teams choose or decommission stacks, enforce baselines, and plan lifecycle activities.
