Forntungumáli

Forntungumáli, which translates to "ancient language" in Icelandic, is a term used to refer to early stages of language development, particularly those of Proto-Indo-European (PIE) and its immediate descendants. It is not a single, monolithic language but rather a conceptual framework reconstructed through comparative linguistics.
