Floorx

Floorx is a modular flooring system designed for rapid installation in homes and light commercial settings. It uses interlocking planks and layered construction to mimic the look of natural materials while offering enhanced durability and ease of maintenance. The system is intended for floating installation over suitable subfloors.

Its core consists of a composite of recycled wood fiber and polymer, surmounted by a decorative layer printed with wood- or stone-like textures and a clear wear layer. Planks feature either a tongue-and-groove or click-lock edge profile and are designed for floating installation without adhesive in most configurations. Typical thickness allows for comfortable underfoot feel and sound dampening.

Installation is straightforward: the subfloor should be clean, dry, and flat; an underlayment may be used for acoustics or moisture control. Planks are cut with a utility knife and joined by snapping the edges together. Maintenance is simple: sweep or vacuum, damp-mop with manufacturer-approved cleaners, and use protective pads for furniture. Avoid excessive moisture and steam cleaning.

Performance varies by product line but generally targets residential and light commercial use with good abrasion resistance and UV stability. While highly water-resistant, Floorx is not designed for fully submerged areas. It can be compatible with radiant floor heating within specified temperature ranges.

Environmentally, Floorx emphasizes recycled content, recyclability, low VOC finishes, and third-party indoor air quality certifications.
