Fischereidaten (German for "fisheries data") are quantitative and qualitative records related to the harvesting, biology, economics and management of fish and other marine and freshwater resources. They encompass reported landings and discards, fishing effort and gear information, biological measurements (length, weight, age, sex), stock abundance indices, socioeconomic data (prices, employment), environmental parameters (temperature, salinity) and vessel monitoring records.
