Finnari is a fictional country in the northern archipelago of Eldria. It combines rugged coastlines, deep fjords, and extensive forests. The capital and seat of government is Valenport, while the largest urban center is Northgate. The official language is Finnari; English is widely used in business and education. Finnari is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system; the monarch's role is largely ceremonial, and a prime minister chairs the cabinet in a unicameral legislature.

Finnari encompasses about 180 islands and peninsulas, with a coastal climate that remains cool year round. The landscape includes fjords, rolling hills, and the Iggdran mountain range. Fisheries and timber are important industries in coastal communities.

Settled in the early medieval era by seafaring groups, Finnari gradually unified under a centralized crown.
