Filippina is a term that refers to people, culture, and things associated with the Philippines, an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. The name "Filippina" is derived from the Spanish colonial period when the islands were named after King Philip II of Spain, with "Filipinas" being the Spanish plural form.

The Philippines has a rich multicultural heritage shaped by its indigenous Austronesian roots, Spanish colonial influence from the 16th to 19th centuries, American occupation in the early 20th century, and trade relationships with neighboring Asian countries. This diverse background is reflected in the country's languages, with Filipino (based on Tagalog) serving as the national language alongside English and numerous regional languages.

Filippina culture encompasses traditional arts, music, dance, and religious practices that blend indigenous, Hispanic, and Asian elements. Notable cultural expressions include the tinikling dance, kulintang music, and religious festivals like Sinulog. The term "Filippina" is also used specifically to refer to Filipino women, while "Filipino" can refer to both men and women or serve as an adjective describing Philippine culture and identity. This distinction reflects the Spanish grammatical tradition where feminine forms are marked with an "a" ending.
