Felhszámítástechnika

Felhőznámítástechnika, often shortened to felhőznámítástechnika, refers to the delivery of computing services—including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence—over the Internet (“the cloud”) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. Typically, cloud computing costs less than traditional IT, as you don’t need to buy and maintain your own data centers and servers. Instead, you can access technology services from a cloud provider on an as-needed basis.

There are three main types of cloud computing services: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). IaaS provides basic computing infrastructure, such as virtual machines and storage, on demand. PaaS provides a platform for developing, running, and managing applications without the complexity of building and maintaining the infrastructure typically associated with development. SaaS provides ready-to-use software applications delivered over the internet, such as email or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

The benefits of felhőznámítástechnika include cost savings, speed, global scale, performance, and security. Organizations can provision IT resources within minutes rather than weeks, and they can scale up or down as their business needs change. Cloud services are also built to take advantage of the same efficiencies and cost-saving measures that allow cloud providers to offer lower variable costs. This allows businesses to access advanced technologies that they might not otherwise be able to afford.
