Felhőznámítástechnika, often translated as cloud computing, refers to the delivery of computing services—including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence—over the Internet ("the cloud"). This allows for faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. Instead of owning and maintaining physical data centers and servers, you can access technology services, such as computing power, storage, and databases, on an as-needed basis from a cloud provider.

The primary benefits of cloud computing include cost savings, as businesses can reduce capital expenditure on hardware and infrastructure. It also offers speed and agility, allowing for rapid deployment of new applications and services. Scalability is another key advantage, enabling businesses to easily adjust their resource usage up or down based on demand. Furthermore, cloud services often provide enhanced reliability and security, with providers investing heavily in these areas.

There are different cloud deployment models, including public clouds, private clouds, and hybrid clouds. Public clouds are owned and operated by third-party cloud service providers. Private clouds are used exclusively by a single business or organization. Hybrid clouds combine public and private clouds, allowing data and applications to be shared between them. Common cloud service models include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS), each offering different levels of abstraction and management.
