Common signs of FeLV infection include loss of appetite, weight loss, and poor coat condition. Cats may also exhibit persistent or recurrent infections of the skin, bladder, or respiratory tract. Treatment focuses on managing secondary infections and providing supportive care to improve the cat's quality of life. Prevention through vaccination and avoiding contact with infected cats is crucial. Regular veterinary check-ups are important for early detection and management of the disease. Cats diagnosed with FeLV often require careful monitoring and a protected environment.
