Fejlmodus

Fejlmodus is a term used primarily in Danish-language technical documentation to describe a mode or state of a system in which a fault or error has been detected. It is commonly used in consumer electronics, software, and network equipment.

In a device, fejlimodus indicates that normal operation cannot be guaranteed; the system enters a degraded or safe state to protect data, user safety, or hardware. It may restrict features, enable diagnostic tools, and prompt user action.

Indicators and behavior: In most devices, fault mode is shown by visual cues such as blinking LEDs, error codes on a display, or a dedicated fault screen. It may also trigger audio alerts or specific messages. In software, error mode may disable certain operations, log errors, and prompt for recovery steps.
