Fegyverrakéták

Fegyverrakéták, commonly translated as "weapon rockets" or "guided missiles," refer to self-propelled, winged or unguided projectiles that are designed to deliver an explosive warhead to a target. The term encompasses a broad range of systems, from simple unguided rockets used in infantry support roles to sophisticated, precision-guided munitions.

Unguided rockets typically rely on simple aerodynamic principles and initial propulsion to reach their target. Their accuracy can be limited, especially at longer ranges or against moving targets. Guided missiles, in contrast, incorporate a guidance system that allows them to track and intercept targets with much greater precision. These guidance systems can employ various methods, including infrared homing, radar, laser designation, or GPS.
