Farüngiiti is a medical term referring to inflammation of the pharynx, the part of the throat behind the mouth and nasal cavity. This inflammation is commonly known as a sore throat. It is a frequent ailment, often presenting with symptoms such as pain or a scratchy sensation in the throat, difficulty swallowing, and sometimes fever. The pharynx is a crucial part of the respiratory and digestive systems, and its inflammation can disrupt normal functions.

For bacterial farüngiiti, antibiotics are prescribed to combat the infection. Prevention strategies include good hygiene, such as regular handwashing, and avoiding close contact with infected individuals.
