Fagradalsfjall

Fagradalsfjall is a mountain on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland. It gained international attention for its recent volcanic activity, specifically the eruption that began in March 2021. This eruption marked the first volcanic event on the Reykjanes Peninsula in over 800 years and the first in the Fagradalsfjall area in approximately 12,000 years.
