Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS in 2007. The game is a sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and the second game in the Tactics series.

The game is set five years after the events of the first Tactics Advance game and follows a new protagonist, Marche, on a journey to explore the land of Ivoire. Marche teams up with his childhood friend, Rizea, and together they delve into a series of quests and missions to discover the truth about the mysterious Grimoire of the Rift.

FFTA:Gr2 features the same tactical battle system as its predecessor, but with some improvements, such as a new graphical user interface and the ability to issue multiple commands at once. The game also includes a greater emphasis on character customization and development, with players able to equip and train their characters in a variety of different ways.

In addition to its tactical battles and character customization, FFTA:Gr2 features a wide range of characters, each with their own unique skills and abilities. Players can choose from over 70 different characters, including new playable characters and returning favorites from the previous game.

Reviews for the game were generally positive, with praise for the game's addictive gameplay and in-depth character customization. However, some critics noted that the story was somewhat predictable and the interface could be improved. Despite these criticisms, FFTA:Gr2 remains a popular installment in the Tactics series.
