FEESként

FEESként, also known as FEES, is a Hungarian political party founded in 2018. The party's name is an acronym for "Fidesz, Ellenzéki Képviselőcsoport" (Fidesz, Opposition Group), reflecting its origins as a breakaway faction from the ruling Fidesz party. FEESként was established by former Fidesz members who were dissatisfied with the party's leadership and policies, particularly regarding the government's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and economic reforms.

The party's platform focuses on economic liberalism, fiscal responsibility, and a strong emphasis on national sovereignty. FEESként advocates for reducing government spending, lowering taxes, and promoting free market principles. The party also supports the European Union but has expressed concerns about the EU's integration policies and the influence of Brussels on national affairs.

In the 2018 parliamentary election, FEESként ran as part of the Together 2018 coalition, which included other opposition parties. The coalition won a significant number of seats in the National Assembly, and FEESként's members were elected as deputies. However, the coalition later dissolved, and FEESként became an independent parliamentary group.
