Förrutom is a fictional municipality and parish in the Nordic-inspired region of Nordmark. It lies along a coastal plain with surrounding forests and gentle hills, featuring a small harbor, farmland, and scattered historic buildings.

The name Förrutom is believed to derive from Old Norse elements referring to a position beyond a ford, a geographic cue that shaped early travel routes through the area.
