EvangelicalReformed

EvangelicalReformed is a designation used to describe a theological perspective that seeks to integrate elements of both evangelical and Reformed traditions. It is not a formal denomination or a distinct theological system with a codified set of doctrines, but rather a broad movement or tendency within Protestant Christianity.

Individuals and churches identifying with EvangelicalReformed theology typically hold to the core tenets of historic Reformed theology, such as the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, predestination, and the doctrines of grace (often summarized by the TULIP acronym). However, they also emphasize aspects commonly associated with evangelicalism, including a strong focus on personal conversion, evangelism, the necessity of a born-again experience, and the importance of experiential faith.

This approach often seeks to bridge perceived divides between the Reformed emphasis on systematic theology and covenantal understanding, and the evangelical focus on individual piety and missionary zeal.
