Eulsan

Eulsan is a romanization that has appeared in English-language texts to refer to a Korean place name, most commonly the city of Ulsan in the southeast of South Korea. The spelling Eulsan is considered old-fashioned or nonstandard today; current official romanization uses Ulsan.

Ulsan is a metropolitan city situated on the southeastern coast. It is one of Korea's major industrial centers, with a large shipbuilding complex and heavy industries, including Hyundai Heavy Industries and Hyundai Motor Company's automobile plants, as well as petrochemical facilities. The city also features a university and cultural sites, and serves as an important port for domestic and international trade.
