Estean

Estean is a fictional sovereign state and parliamentary republic located on the eastern coast of the continent of Valara. It covers about sixty thousand square kilometers and comprises coastal plains, river valleys, and a central hilly region. The climate is temperate with mild winters and warm summers. The capital, Estea City, sits on the central coast and is the largest urban center.

Since adopting its first constitution in the 1870s, Estean has been a multiparty parliamentary republic. The National Assembly is elected by proportional representation for four-year terms. The President serves as head of state and the Prime Minister as head of government. The judiciary is independent.

Estean maintains a diversified economy with services, manufacturing, agriculture, and fishing. Major sectors include port logistics, shipbuilding, and renewable energy, particularly offshore wind. The population is about 6.8 million; Estians are diverse, with Estean and minority communities. The official language is Estean, with English widely used in business.

Education is compulsory through secondary level, and Estea National University is the flagship institution. Cultural life emphasizes maritime heritage and coastal cuisine, with an annual Sea Festival in summer. Estean participates in regional organizations and maintains environmental protections and sustainable development initiatives.
