Erodier

An erodier is a specialized piece of equipment used primarily in the manufacturing and machining industries to remove material from a workpiece through a process known as erosion. This method is particularly useful for creating intricate shapes, fine details, or sharp edges that are difficult or impossible to achieve with traditional cutting tools. Erosion typically involves the use of a high-velocity jet of abrasive particles, often suspended in a fluid such as water or air, which impacts the surface of the material being processed.

The most common type of erodier is the abrasive waterjet (AWJ) machine, which combines a high-pressure water stream with abrasive particles like garnet or aluminum oxide.
