Eravallu

Eravallu is a tribal community primarily found in the state of Kerala, India. They are also known by other names such as Eravallar, Eravallan, and Irula. Historically, they have been recognized as a Scheduled Tribe by the Indian government, indicating their distinct cultural and social identity.

The traditional occupation of the Eravallu community has been hunting and gathering, with a deep knowledge of forest resources. They are known for their expertise in collecting forest produce like honey, medicinal herbs, and other forest products.
