Endgerätfinanziert is a German term that translates to "end-device financed" or "terminal financed." It refers to a financing model where the cost of an electronic device, such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, is spread over a period of time, often through monthly installments. This is commonly offered by mobile network operators, electronics retailers, and specialized financing companies.

Under this arrangement, the customer typically pays an initial upfront cost, which can range from zero to a percentage of the device's total price. The remaining balance is then paid in regular installments, usually alongside a service contract for mobile or internet access. Once the financing period is complete and all payments have been made, the customer fully owns the end device. This model allows consumers to acquire more expensive devices without a large immediate outlay, making them more accessible.
