Endermite

The Endermite is a rare, hostile mob found in Minecraft. It is a small, worm-like creature with a grayish-purple body. Endermites are primarily encountered in the End dimension, though they can occasionally spawn in the Overworld when a player throws an Ender Pearl. They are hostile towards players and will attack on sight.

When an Endermite spawns from an Ender Pearl, it will often aggro onto the player who threw the pearl. This makes them a minor nuisance when teleporting. Endermites are small and fast, making them somewhat difficult to hit. They deal a small amount of damage and can inflict the "Levitation" status effect, causing the player to float upwards.

Defeating an Endermite yields no experience points or loot. Their primary purpose in the game is to serve as a deterrent or minor obstacle, particularly when players are traversing the End or using Ender Pearls frequently. They are not a significant threat individually, but can become problematic in larger numbers or when combined with other hostile mobs. Their behavior is somewhat similar to silverfish, in that they are small and can be hard to track.
