The operation of photocopiers and laser printers also relies on electrostaticbased technology. They use charged drums to attract toner particles, which are then transferred to paper and fused into an image. The controlled buildup and discharge of static electricity are fundamental to their functioning. Overall, electrostaticbased systems offer advantages such as non-contact handling, high efficiency in particle or material collection, and precise control.
