Electrocleaning is a non-toxic, chemical-free cleaning method that utilizes the principles of electrolysis to remove dirt, grime, and stains from various surfaces. The process involves the use of an electrocleaning machine, which generates an electric current in a cleaning solution, typically water with a small amount of salt or baking soda. This current creates a chemical reaction that breaks down organic and inorganic deposits, making them easier to rinse away.

The technique is particularly effective for cleaning delicate or porous materials, such as jewelry, antiques, and historical artifacts, as it avoids the use of harsh abrasives or solvents that could cause damage.
