Eldermere is a coastal town in the fictional nation of Northvale, located on the eastern coast along the Bay of Lir. It has an estimated population of about 12,000 and serves as the administrative center of Greenvale County’s eastern shore.

The name Eldermere derives from Old English elements for water and age, with local lore linking it to elder trees that once lined the shoreline.

Founded as a fishing village in the 12th century, Eldermere grew through timber and coastal trade. A railway connection in the 19th century spurred development and helped integrate the town with wider markets.

The town sits in a sheltered harbor with a rocky shoreline and nearby tidal marshes. The climate is temperate maritime, featuring mild winters and cool summers.
