Ekstruusiota

Ekstruusiota is a term used in technical contexts to denote the extrusion process, a manufacturing method in which a material is forced through a shaped die to produce objects with a continuous cross-section. The term is related to the English word extrusion and to its linguistic cognates in various languages; its usage varies by region and field.

In operation, a raw material is prepared and fed into a extruder or ram device. The material is heated or softened (as in polymers or some metals) and pushed through a die that determines the cross-sectional shape of the final product. The extrudate is then cooled, drawn, or otherwise conditioned to achieve final dimensions and mechanical properties. Extrusion enables continuous production of long parts and complex profiles with relatively uniform properties along the length.

Materials used in ekstruusiota include polymers (such as thermoplastics), metals (notably aluminum and copper alloys), ceramics, and composites.
