Eipakatuilluille

Eipakatuilluille refers to a rare and controversial aspect of Arctic Circle indigenous cultures, specifically within the Sami people. It is related to the historical practice of curative killing, a term coined by anthropologist Åsmund Egge.

In Eipakatuilluille, sick or infirm individuals were often taken to high-altitude locations, fatally wounded, and left to die. This practice was largely hidden from outsiders due to the sanctions imposed by Christian ("Norse") converts in the turbulent 18th century.

Early ethnographic studies, conducted by Ánde Somby among others, suggest that this form of curative killing could only occur with the approval or consent of the extended family including brothers, sisters, parents and even grandparents. These individuals were usually terminally ill with consumption or asthma, whom no conventional healing practice seemed to be able to save.

Some studies indicate that the specific methods of killing varied such that some were bound and shot, others were given fatal injections. In any case, high-level motive was held that spirit full curses would trigger an individual's death. These actions allowed their families to accurately decorate strategies meant for initiating all-septic prayers reaching the spiritual realm which prayed to have control over search advancement drives designed to transmit hope.

The morality and legitimacy of such inhumane practices is not in anyway understood universally and some of it leaves in radians future archaeological tapping both sympathy and goodwill to yet eventual exponents of theown.
