EiblEibesfeldt
Irenäus Eibl-Eibesfeldt was an Austrian ethologist and evolutionary biologist. Born in Vienna in 1928, he became a prominent figure in the field of ethology, the study of animal behavior in their natural environments. Eibl-Eibesfeldt's work is closely associated with Konrad Lorenz, another pioneer in the field, and he carried out extensive research on a wide range of species, from marine iguanas in the Galapagos to various primates and birds.
His research focused on the innate behaviors of animals and the evolutionary basis of social interactions.
