Edirnekap, commonly spelled Edirnekapı, is a historic neighborhood in Istanbul, Turkey. It is part of the Fatih district and sits along the northern edge of the historic peninsula, near the Theodosian Walls and the Golden Horn. The name derives from the Edirne Gate, one of the gates of the Theodosian Walls that historically provided access toward Edirne (Adrianople) in the Ottoman period.
