EXPLAINin
EXPLAINin is a software framework and methodology for producing explanations of machine learning model outputs. It aims to improve transparency, trust, and accountability in AI systems by providing interpretable representations of decisions across different model types and deployment environments. The framework supports both model-agnostic explainability and model-specific modules for common architectures, and it emphasizes accessibility through natural language summaries, visualizations, and explainable-by-design defaults. Core capabilities include local explanations for individual predictions, global explanations of overall behavior, counterfactual explanations describing minimal input changes to flip outcomes, and prototype explanations that highlight representative examples.
