EUguided is a European Union digital guidance platform designed to help citizens and businesses navigate EU procedures, funding opportunities, and regulatory requirements. It aggregates official information from EU institutions, national authorities, and agencies into a single multilingual portal intended to simplify access to complex rules and procedures.

The platform offers guided steps, interactive checklists, eligibility calculators, and personalized recommendations that adapt to a user’s profile and location. It supports 24 official EU languages and is designed with accessibility in mind. EUguided emphasizes privacy and security, adhering to applicable data protection requirements and limiting data collection to what is necessary for the service. Data analytics focus on improving content accuracy and user experience while maintaining user anonymity.

EUguided began as a pilot project in select member states in 2022, with a phased expansion to all member states and broader integration with national portals by 2024. It involves collaboration among EU institutions and national authorities and is meant to complement existing portals such as europa.eu.

Usage covers guidance on funding programs for small and medium-sized enterprises, research and innovation grants, cross-border mobility, and regulatory compliance including basic rules on state aid and public procurement. The platform also offers APIs to allow developers and other portals to incorporate the guidance into their own websites and apps.

Reception has been mixed. Proponents credit EUguided with reducing friction in locating official information, while critics raise concerns about maintaining content accuracy, translation quality, and potential privacy risks in personalized guidance. Ongoing governance and content updates aim to address these issues and ensure alignment with EU policy changes.
