EORItunnus is the Estonian term for the Economic Operators Registration and Identification number used in the European Union for customs and trade. It is issued by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (Maksu- ja Tolliamet, MTA) to traders and individuals who engage in cross-border activities.

The EORI number serves as a unique identifier for economic operators in customs procedures across the EU. To obtain an EORItunnus in Estonia, applicants submit an application to the MTA. Once issued, the EORI number is valid for use throughout the EU and remains with the operator.

The EORI number typically begins with the country code for Estonia ("EE") followed by a unique numeric sequence. It is distinct from, but often used alongside, VAT numbers; the EORI is the primary identifier for customs procedures, while the VAT number is used for tax purposes within the EU.
