EMCDDA
The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) is an agency of the European Union (EU) established in 1993 to provide the EU and its Member States with objective, evidence-based information about drugs and drug addiction. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, the EMCDDA supports evidence-based drug policy development, harm reduction, and public health responses across Europe. Its work is guided by the EU Drugs Strategy, which aims to reduce drug-related harm, improve the health and well-being of people who use drugs, and strengthen cooperation among EU countries.
