Fossils of Dynamisella are typically found in the fossil record of Europe, particularly in regions like Bohemia (modern-day Czech Republic) and Estonia.

Dynamisella species are characterized by their small, coiled shells, which are often dextral (coiling to the right). The shell morphology is generally globular or ovoid, with a relatively smooth surface. These coiled structures suggest a benthic lifestyle, meaning they lived on the seafloor.
