Dunshore is a coastal town and port on the northern shore of the Serene Estuary in Northgate County. The town lies along a dune-scoured coastline with a natural harbor protected by a 19th-century breakwater. The surrounding landscape includes salt marshes, dune fields, and farmland. The economy blends traditional maritime activities with tourism and light industry.

History: Settlement dates to the medieval era, with a market charter granted in the 13th century. Dunshore grew as a fishing and shipbuilding center, expanded with harbour improvements in the 18th and 19th centuries, and benefited from the arrival of the railway in the 1850s. In recent decades, the economy diversified to services, aquaculture, and tourism.
